How to pair AirPods with a charging case
1. place both AirPods in the charging case (make sure there is at least 30% charge left in the charging case).
Leave the cover open. The status light will blink orange.
This means that the AirPods are not yet paired with the phone or have not formed a left and right set.
Press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case for 15-30 seconds. The status indicator should flash white*. The AirPods are now in pairing mode.
4 On your device, go to the home screen.
5. Close the case lid and open it again with the AirPods inside. Hold them next to your device.
6. your iPhone displays the regular AirPods screen. Tap Connect, then tap Done.
7. enjoy your AirPods.
* If the status light is still blinking amber, connect the case to a power source, close the cover, and wait 20 minutes. Then open the cover again press and hold the setup button for 15-30 seconds until the status light blinks white.
Keep in mind that when you first plug in your AirPods, they may need a full charge cycle to reach their full battery potential.
